YouTube has a lesser-known feature called Unlisted videos. These videos are not accessible to the public and can be seen only by those people who have a direct link to the video sent by the creator. Unlisted videos do not appear on search results, on the viewer’s feeds, or even on your channel. Only your selected audience can view your Unlisted videos without logging into a Google Account, and even comment on them.

  • Why Create Unlisted Videos?

If you have just created and uploaded a video but want to send it for feedback or review, you can do that with the Unlisted option. Unlisted videos are helpful when you only want to share your video with your friends and family, or some exclusive content like patrons, or when you want to remove an old video from your feed.

Whether you’re a vlogger seeking feedback on your upcoming video, a business sharing internal training materials, or a creator rewarding your loyal fans with exclusive content, unlisted videos offer flexibility and control over who can access your content.

  • How to Create an Unlisted Video?

After uploading your video on YouTube Creator Studio and filling out all its details, your last option will be “Visibility”. Under this, you have the option to make your videos Private, Unlisted, or Public. Select the Unlisted option.
