Ever since the pandemic hit us, several YouTubers all over the world have tried their best to make the world a better place. While some kept us entertained while we stayed at home, some raised awareness about the virus, and some others even helped raise money for various causes. Here are some YouTubers who made a huge contribution to society during these troubled times.

1. John Krasinski

As soon as the lockdowns hit in the US in March 2020, American actor John Krasinski, of The Office fame, started a self-funded show on his YouTube channel. Filmed remotely from his home, Krasinski focused on showing only feel-good and heartwarming news in contrast to the news shown on mainstream media. The show also had a virtual prom special for all the students who missed prom during the lockdown. Though the show ended within two months, it became immensely popular during its short run, raising over 2 million dollars for charity.
